GSE Team from Florida, USA visited Nizamabad
– Interested to work with
Rotary club of Nizamabad
in Service Projects.

NIZAMABAD ,18FEBRUARY ,Four members GSE Team from Rotary District 6940, Florida USA Under team Leader Ivan Johnson, visited Nizamabad for a Group study exchange programme. They appreciated the welfare programmes at Nizamabad. Ivan was highly impressed by the Artificial Limb Center providing Jaipur Foot to all needy free of Cost by Rotary Club of Nizamabad. He inaugurated a bus shelter at Srinagar, Nizamabad and donated Almirah as well as Sports material to Government primary School at Gautham Nagar. The team visited Quilla Ramalyam, Matrusiri orphanage and old age home, Gajanand इ ndustry (A modern Rice Mill), Sukhjit Starch Mills, Shilpakala Nilayam (Handicrafts). They were overwhelmed by the Visit to Interact Club at Navodya Global School. They were extremely delighted to attend an Indian wedding.
Ivan Johnson, an Architect by profession and Past District Governor expressed his willingness to work in partnership with Rotary Club at Nizamabad for community welfare. He also assured to visit back to inaugurate and scrutinize the joint projects.
Team member Scott page, a journalist by Profession, has desire to migrate abroad for study of History and Culture and “there is no better place to move other than India that has got the richest History and Culture”, Scott said.
Other team members include Ms। Alison Thome, a Behavior Therapist working for Children suffering from autism and Alison Dodson, a senior Compaign manager working for gathering funds for NGOs. They enjoyed every moment of their visits especially wearing Indian Dresses made with rich and multicolored fabric.
